If you’re ready to purchase a franchise or if you’re meeting up with a potential franchisor be sure to read up on our last post about ‘What to Ask a Franchisor’? Click here to catch up.
Before committing to a franchise, it would be a good idea to consider these additional questions to find out if the business is right for you. Ask these at your next meeting:
- What kind of profits would I make? A franchisor will be able to share with you their projections for profit. However, you must complete a business plan and take advice from your accountants.
- Will I have any additional start-up costs? You may already understand the investment requirements for your chosen franchise, it’s worth finding out if there are any other costs you should consider. For example; software, staff, training, etc.
- Will I receive training? Purchasing a franchise means that you get to work for yourself, but not by yourself and will receive all the training and support required to set up the business. At Home Care Preferred we offer some of the best training and support in the industry to all our franchise owners. You can find out more here.
- What marketing will the franchisor be doing? Running your own franchise business will mean that you will most likely have to control of some of your own marketing, but the franchisor (and head office) may be able to help with some of this too.
